🆕 What’s New in the May 2024 Release:

New Features:

1. 🧭 Streamlined Menu Navigation:

  • We fixed alignment issues on the menu page to ensure consistency in item names, descriptions, and padding for a cleaner look.

2. 👍 Enhanced Multi-Brand Ordering:

  • Multi-brand orders can now be optionally limited to brands within the same kitchen location. If enabled, brands from different outlets are automatically disabled after a selection is made, ensuring smoother operations.

3. 🤌 App-Wide UI Enhancements:

  • Improved spacing, fonts, colors, and alignment on the checkout page.
  • Updated search functionality and various UI adjustments across multiple screens for a more intuitive interface.
  • Changed the ‘following’ button label to ‘unfollow’ with an “X” icon for a clearer user interaction.

4.💲Minimum Order Visibility Adjustment:

  • When the minimum order value is set to 0, it is no longer displayed on the checkout screen, simplifying the interface.

5. 🏠 Enhanced Address Management:

  • Users can now easily delete delivery addresses from their profile, simplifying address management.

6. ⚠️ Improved Delivery Address Prompts:

  • Clearer error messages are now shown if a delivery address isn’t selected or added, guiding users through the process.

    The app now prompts users to select a location upon opening, ensuring accurate delivery options from the start.

  • Delivery time estimates on the checkout screen have been corrected for more reliable and precise information.

  • Improved geographic management with better visibility of polygons in the ‘areas’ section.
  • Specified image dimensions and supported file types on the partners page for better clarity.
  • Streamlined theme creation for a smoother experience.

  • Introduced a date picker for tracking Brand points.
  • Enabled viewing of products linked to specific categories.

New Features:

  1. 📧 Order Review Emails: Automated emails are now triggered whenever a customer leaves a review, sending the feedback directly to admin emails for proactive issue resolution and service improvement.
  2. 🛒 Checkout Page UI Updates: The checkout experience has been enhanced with the following UI improvements:
    • Dropdown and drop-up arrows are now aligned with the restaurant name row for a cleaner appearance.
    • The colon symbol on variants has been removed for a more streamlined look.
  3. 🍴 Restaurant Sequence Fix: Corrected the restaurant sequence for multi-brand orders, ensuring a smoother ordering process.
  4. 🔠 Menu Category Font Size: Increased the font size of menu categories for improved readability and easier navigation.

New Features:

  • 🗺️ Map Fixes: Improved scrolling and searching on the map for faster and more user-friendly location selection
  • 🌟 Feedback Modal: Added a new feedback button on the home screen to make it easier for customers to rate their orders and share their experiences directly from the app.
  • 💵 Redeeming Free Items with Cash: For orders with a total amount of 0, the option to restrict payment to cash only when redeeming free items is available. Card payment can be disabled for these transactions based on client preferences.
  • 🚫 Cash on Delivery Restriction: Clients can choose to restrict cash on delivery for pickup orders, streamlining the payment process where necessary.
  • 🏢 Add Location & Checkout UI Update: Updated the checkout experience by adding fields for apartment and building numbers to ensure more accurate delivery details.
